Overwatch League Season 6
New York Excelsior is a professional esports team operated by NYXL, representing New York City, USA in the Overwatch League.
In the final season of the Overwatch League, the team wanted to tone back on the gritty graffiti style of last season, and return to their minimalistic design roots.
After some design exploration, the team decided on taking their slogan 'Ever Upward' literally, and headed to space.

Early Exploration
Goal was a refreshed look on fan favourite design styles of the New York Excelsior from earlier years.
Final Assets
Direction moved towards space to reflect a new era and new heights. #EverUpward.
NYXL Academy
NYXL Academy is New York Excelsior's team in the Calling All Heroes tournament series for marginalised genders. Excelsior wanted this team to have similar but different look to the main team, and opted for a light vs dark approach with rainbow/holo accents.
